You can order a repeat prescription through the form on our website, through the NHS App, or by speaking to us in the pharmacy. All three end up in the same place.
The NHS App is worth setting up if you have not already — it lets you order directly from your GP record, and many surgeries now prefer patients to order that way.
Once your GP surgery has approved and sent the prescription electronically, we usually have it ready the same or next working day. The part that takes time is almost always the surgery rather than the pharmacy.
Ordering a few days before you run out avoids the gap. If you are down to your last couple of days, tell us — we can often chase it.
Collect from the counter any time we are open, Monday to Saturday 9am–9pm and Sunday 10am–8pm, or have it delivered free within about five miles of the pharmacy.
There is no charge for delivery and no minimum order.
If you have completely run out of an essential medicine and cannot reach your surgery, speak to the pharmacist. Depending on the medicine and circumstances there may be an emergency supply route available. Come in and ask rather than going without.
