Most pharmacies in Birmingham close between 5.30pm and 6pm. If you finish work at six, collect children at half three, or your GP rings through a prescription late in the afternoon, that leaves a narrow window and often means waiting until the next day for medication you need tonight.
Village Green Pharmacy on Warwick Road is open until 9pm Monday to Saturday and until 8pm on Sunday. There is no separate late-night counter and no appointment needed — the full service runs the whole time we are open, including NHS prescriptions, Pharmacy First consultations and advice from the pharmacist.
We are open every day of the week, including Sundays and most bank holidays. If you are unsure before travelling across, call us on 0121 448 4336 and we will confirm.
Everything we do during the day. Collect an NHS prescription, order a repeat, speak to the pharmacist about a symptom, have a free blood pressure check, or be assessed under Pharmacy First for one of the seven conditions we can treat without a GP appointment.
Evenings are often quieter than mid-morning, so if you want an unhurried conversation with the pharmacist rather than a queue, after 6pm is usually a good time to come in.
We are at 1095–1097 Warwick Road, Acocks Green, Birmingham B27 6QT, on the main Warwick Road through Acocks Green, a couple of minutes from The Acocks Green Medical Centre. Buses along Warwick Road stop close by and there is parking on the surrounding side streets.
If you are coming from Yardley, Tyseley, Hall Green, Olton, Sheldon or Solihull, we are a short drive along the A41.
