Village Green Pharmacy has been part of Acocks Green for over 15 years. We are an independent NHS community pharmacy — not a chain — which means decisions about how the pharmacy runs are made in the building rather than at a head office.

We are open Monday to Saturday 9am–9pm and Sunday 10am–8pm, which is later than almost every other pharmacy in the area.

• Pharmacy First — assessment and treatment for seven common conditions without a GP appointment
• NHS contraception — start or continue the oral contraceptive pill with a pharmacist
• Blood pressure checks — free for adults aged 40 and over
• New Medicine Service — support when you start a medicine for a long-term condition
• Discharge Medicines Service — a medicines review after you leave hospital
• Repeat prescriptions and EPS nomination

Other things we do

We deliver prescriptions free of charge within about five miles of the pharmacy, supply MDS blister packs for patients who find several daily medicines hard to manage, treat ear infections in children and young people under Pharmacy First, and offer ear piercing in a clean clinical setting.
